What's in the Box

This is what can be found in today's large CSA box. Freshly picked and washed this morning and off to a happy customer this afternoon!

Broccoli, cabbage, mizuna, endive, eggs, salad mix, beetroot, kale, rocket, english spinach, celery, and silverbeet. And the recipe for today is Laksa.

Ingredients; I onion chopped
                            Garlic, ginger and chilli
                            1.5 litre stock
                            1 can coconut milk
                             Rice noodles
Seasonal vegies (carrots, mushrooms, broccoli etc)
                             Tofu
                             Sprouts (or mizuna)

Method   Fry up onion, garlic, ginger and chilli. Add stock and coconut milk, and bring to boil then reduce to simmer. Add chopped vegies, then noodles and tofu and then soft vegies. Then add leafy greens for about 2 minutes and take off the heat.

And of course the celery could go in there.

This box is going to a customer that likes to green juice, so the extra greens should go down well.

Thanks for visiting

Kate

May be able to harvest some Spinach and Silverbeet for tea tonight. Thankfully, the girls are now laying regularly which is wonderful.
Can't beat home grown anything I think.....
Hope you had a great weekend Kate.
