A Plea for Help

I still can't download photos from my camera to my blog. Any one have any suggestion?
The "Choose Files" button no longer appears. Actually it does for a nano second, and then disappears.

Any help gratefully accepted!

  1. Hi Kate. I remember about 6-8 weeks ago some bloggers saying that Google informed them they'd reached the limit on their photos. I have no idea what that means because I didn't know there was a limit. I have always reduced the size of my photos right down. I've just looked this up and this is the result: "Number of Pictures: Up to 1 GB of total storage, shared with Picasa Web".
Do you reduce the size of your photos or load them as is? Can you upload directly from Picassa or any of the other options on the left sidebar?

  2. You may be able to if you click onto html mode before adding pics. Just as Rhonda was talking about storage, I have received the same message but bought 20gb of storage for $5 a year.

  3. It happened to me about five days ago. Now I have to load them onto the computer, put them onto Picasa web and then upload through the blog! It's driving me mad because it's so time consuming and I'm not used to Picasa yet, but it works.

  4. Hi Kate I am currently having the same problem, the browse button does not appear in my upload window, I do the same as Linda and go through picasa and download that way, it is a pain but until they fix the glitch it may be what we have to do till then :)

  5. Kate, I am on the same wagon as everyone else which has me really wanting to leave Blogger.
I am now doing the what Linda and Michelle are doing to get pictures loaded and am finding it works, but it takes me awhile longer.

  6. I'm not really sure what to suggest; I haven't received that message about a limit being reached, but have always resized my photographs anyway. Maybe you need to go back and reduce the size of photos already published so it will allow new ones to be uploaded.

I resize all my pictures in Paint, which is a simple process and is probably on your computer already, so no other program is needed. A bit too simple for some but works for me. I resize then save the edited version under a different name so I don't lose the original. Ring if you'd like to... Ree x
