Spinning Chair

I wasn't really looking for one, but when Mark's eagle eye saw this yesterday at an second hand shop, I snatched it up. It's a spinning chair!

I have, in the past struggled to find a chair that is comfortable to sit in for long periods of spinning. I stop spinning well before I would like to because my back starts to ache. I'm hoping that this chair will bring relief. Does anyone else have a spinning chair? How is it for you?

The chair is in need of some TLC, but after Mark spend some time working on it, I'm sure it will be as good as new. No excuse now for not getting some spinning done. Not that I need an excuse really, I do love to spin.

  1. Even if it doesn't fit the bill it is a gorgeous item to have in the house (I mean the chair, not Mark haha!).

  2. Oh do you need a special chair for spinning? Is it because of the height and leg positions? My Nan has spun all of my life and my mum used to as well. My mum gave my Nan her spinning wheel and my Nan is going to give it to me when she can no longer use it. For now I have enough hobbies but I look forward to learning one day.

  5. I had never heard of one. It is amazing the things that are in op shops and second hand shops that no one knows what they are ...then the right person walks in and finds a spinning chair!
I actually clicked on your post in the hopes there would be a picture of you sitting on a swivel chair being spun around really fast .
