Nourishment For The Soul

A trip to the mountains was needed .......

A small dam. Can you see the steps going down into the water in the lower right hand corner - makes a swimming hole.

Dark and cool

Peaceful

If I was a little boy I'd walk across that fallen tree

Oh what the heck....

Some wild life....

A small eel in the swimming hole

A goanna half way up a tree
Peaceful, cool, magical, and green, all that was needed to nourish our souls!!

  6. Now that is really weird. I have a vivid childhood memory of walking across that dam when I was on a day trip with a school friend (without my parents). I had no idea where it was. Is that within the Hunter Region? I grew up in Morisset, so wouldn't make sense if it wasn't.

  7. Hope all is well with you and yours. I'm thinking I might head out to some beautiful spot like that to recharge my slightly tense self!!! I love rainforest's too - there is something so still and primeval when you are deep with in the moist green forest. And healing!
