| Another little bantam has gone clucky, so I've taken away her little eggs , dowsed some full sized eggs in the hope that I choose females to pop under her in the morning. |

As you may be able to see, the day has been quite overcast and drizzling with rain. We have had quite a lot of rain over the last week or so and everything is looking green and abundant. I love how the farm looks in Spring.
My favourite photo was the circle of hens around the feeder, and of course the baby goslings! Everything just looks so gorgeous with all this rain , the colours really came out in your photos!

ReplyDeleteI'll second Kim - the colours looks so lush and it made me think of how it could look in summer, possibly a little wilted and dry!
Kate is there any chance that you could post about how you put in your garlic? We are hoping to plant a decent crop next year and I'd love some of your knowledge!

ReplyDeleteRain makes everything greener. Here, we're winding down the greenery and all the colors of autumn are popping up little by little. Love those cute chicks! And what is the name of the orange-y flowers in the secret garden? My son mentioned to me last week how fun it would be to have a secret garden...I think he was talking more about the hiding in it than the plants.

Nice lot of eggs, our girls are on a go slow and I've been wondering if there's a secret egg stash somewhere, but as they are kept in their run till mid afternoon, I don't think that's the case.
Gorgeous little Gosling and I ♡ Mulberries. I spotted the first leaf about to come out on our tree, so we are quite a way behind you in the garden stakes.
